Band Biography 

Colossus the Bear is a celebration of the unknown, with the human fascination of darkness, fear, and violence. The understanding that we are not invincible, rather fragile and meek compared to what waits in the depths of human souls. We celebrate the truth that sometimes monsters are real. We revel in the things that lurk in the darkness, the things that go bump in the night. Darkness is not something outside humanity – it is something humanity carries within itself. 

We embrace the past, those that have come before us, the forefathers, founders, and architects of heavy metal! We pay homage to the trail blazers and the pioneers who dared to be defiant and push boundaries. Those that have laid the groundwork and foundation for the next generation, to carry on the tradition that we all love. We are not here to erase what came before us, we are here to carry the torch!
